Slide Rock State Park
6871 N. Highway 89A
Sedona, AZ 86336
The Slide Rock swim area is approximately 1/2 mile of creek. There are multiple places to swim and wade, as well as the famous Slide. The Slide is an eighty foot slippery shoot that is worn into sandstone.
Slide Rock State Park is a wonderful natural water slide in the cool waters of Oak Creek which courses through the beautiful red walls of Oak Creek Canyon. It's loads of fun, but bring aqua sox or some old tennis shoes to protect your feet from the rocks. The Park has hiking trails and picnic areas and is a great place to spend the day relaxing near the river. The park is on the site of an old farmstead with refurbished farm buildings and an apple orchard.

Of course the main attraction of Slide Rock State Park is the natural water slide. The red rock from which this canyon is carved is just so captivating.
